p1 meter replacement procedure Topic is solved

Hello,
i am switching to 3x25A power connection.
The provider will possibly also replace the energy meter.


what would be the correct procedure for replacing it in domoticz?
not sure if it is recognised as a new meter or that it just starts sending out new info(starting at 0)

i have the rfxtrx433xl(on /dev/tty/USB0 which also has a p1 meter

can i create a new fresh p1 meter by just adding a p1 smartmeter usb and point it to /dev/tty/USB0

after that use the replace function

not sure if this will work since the ttyport not only sends out p1 data but rfx data as well

UPDATE:

meter was replaced yesterday
i first enabled accept new hardware devices
after that i plugged in the p1 cable into the new P1 meter

i went to setup-hardware and selected the rfxtrx433xl and did an update

a couple of new devices were created.
My old p1 meter in domoticz still worked
my old gasmeter initially did not work but came alive 1 day later.

i had spikes in some of my graphics but i took the easy way out and deleted them.

sofar everything seems to work as before

UPDATE P1 meter T1 and T2 counter settings are not updated anymore

this issue was fixed in a new release.

in case of a meter swap it now just continues to work.

So, am I correct in stating that when your Dutch Smart meter gets replaced and you have Domoticz 2026.3, you don't have to do anything, accept for maybe remove a few spikes in the graphs?
(I will probably get a new smart meter this week, since the current one seems to have a communication issue, and don't want to loose my data.)

yes correct.

in my situation all the old devices remained working and a couple of new 3 phase devices were created.
from build 18180 this is fixed

The bug i discovered was that all the meters counters were correct but the T1 and T2 in the report remained static.

also at first my gasmeter was not working.
The gasmeter value on the new p1 meter was not shown
this started working after a day and then it also updated in domoticz again.

if not you need to check if the gasmeter is coupled to your new p1 meter.
there is a procedure for that on the liander site.

Thanks. I have no gasmeter, and we are already on a 3-phase connection, so no changes there.

Hm, apparently a smart meter change still isn't completely automatic and smooth yet.
Last Wednesday my meter was changed, and although the graphs in the short logs looked fine, I just found out that I have a huge spike in my monthly and yearly data:

Is this a bug in Domoticz? Should I simply delete the data for this day? Or is there a better way to solve this?

the last month is not that bad because it will disappear after a month.

i think i deleted those from both the month and year graphs

maybe else can give some advice

The spike is in the daily data, which is also visible in the yearly data (with graphs per day), and if I don't fix it it will also corrupt my overview graphs.

yes but you can delete those from every graph
