I have Domoticz v4.11665 installed on Ubuntu
Yeelight Bulbs color v2 firmware v2.0.6.0065
I trying control my RGBWW Yeelight Bulbs through xiaomi wireless switch, but i have some problems:
All my Bulbs is RGBWW, but in Domoticz only one connected like it, and all the others is connected like RGBW. I tried delete all Bulbs and add them again, but with no luck. Some random bulbs connect like RGBWW, some like RGBW.
Absolutely no logs. Only if i turn on Bulb inside Domoticz - there is some information appear in logs. If i use Xiaomi MiHome\Yeelight\GoogleHome apps - nothing will be added in logs.
Another problem - Domoticz don't see any changes with bulbs, if i turn them on or off in Xiaomi MiHome\Yeelight\GoogleHome apps, domoticz do not update any information about it.
Please can somebody help me ? I trying figure it out for month, but looks like without help i can't.

Re: Yeelight bulbs problem
1. Is LAN controle enabled? --> in the Yeelight app on your mobile device?
2. How did you add the bulb into Domoticz?
Before adding bulbs into domoticz, its recommended to give the bulb a static IP (BIND IP TO MAC)
You have to add the bulbs manually via:(Don't forget to allow new hardware in Domoticz --> Settings --> Red button "Allow new hardware for 5 min")
Domoticz --> Settings --> Hardware --> Yeelight Controller --> "Add light" button
Give it a name, Enter static IP, Select RGBW

Re: Yeelight bulbs problem
1)Yes, on all Bulbs lan controle enabled, and they can turn on\off through domoticz.
2) I created Hardware - Yeelight Controller. And add Bulbs by their ip adresses, but before that - i gave for each bulb static ip.

Re: Yeelight bulbs problem
Hi all,
Since few days I discovered I can't control the yeelight rgb bulbs anymore in Domoticz. Have there been an update or so? Have 2 bulbs working toppie for long time, till now...
The bulbs have static ip addresses with correct mac address, all set in the router, that WAS all ok working, I see in the yeelight app still the same ip addresses.
I am able to switch the 2 bulbs with the yeelight app, my 4 pc of hue lights and 2 pc innr lights do still work..
I have domoticz latest beta running on my synology nas 213j..
If someone has an idea? Looks familiar as fixxs problem...
Thanks,
Ger

Re: Yeelight bulbs problem
Yet I had no problems after updating the Yeelights bulbs and controlling them with Domoticz.
What does your Domoticz LOG show, when trying to command a Yeelight bulb?

Re: Yeelight bulbs problem
Having a similar issue with V4.11665 and can't update, because of not having buster.
I have yeelight ceiling lights and I can turn them on and off, but can't control the brightness level. Did updating domoticz help with the issue?

Re: Yeelight bulbs problem
After some testing;
I found the problem.
The Yeelight bulb need to be in the same IP-range as the Domoticz server.
Example:
Domoticz IP: 192.168.1.100
Yeelight bulb IP: 192.168.1.10
* If you have the bulbs in a VLAN then this guide won't work --> They dont get detected automatically
Steps to take:
1. Add "Yeelight LED" hardware in domoticz
2. Restore bulb to factory settings
3. Add bulb to Yeelight app on your phone and enable LAN managment
4. Don't add the bulb with the "Add light" in domoticz!!! The bulb gets detected automatically in the device list as RGBWW device (not used devices)
