I've been working on something new lately: dzPanel.
The idea is to build a flexible, modular smart display platform for ESP32-based screens, with Domoticz integration at its core.
Rather than creating yet another dashboard for one specific device, I want to build something that can run across different display types, sizes and form factors.
I'm currently testing dzPanel on a GUITION ESP32-S3 4-inch square touchscreen (480×480).
It's still an early development build, but things are starting to take shape. most pages/details pages are made and Domoticz devices can be controlled.

One of the main goals is hardware flexibility.
I'm currently expanding the hardware support beyond the initial square display. My next test device will be the Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.75-inch Round AMOLED (466×466).
I'm particularly interested in making dzPanel work across both square and round displays, without having to develop completely separate firmware for each device.
Some things I'd like dzPanel to support:
- Multiple ESP32-S3 display boards and resolutions.
- Both square and round displays.
- Domoticz integration for sensors, switches, scenes and more.
- A consistent interface across different hardware.
- An extensible architecture that makes it easy to add new displays and applications.
I'm still experimenting with the architecture, UI and hardware support, so there is plenty of work ahead.
I'll share more screenshots, progress and hardware experiments as development continues.
I'm curious:
Which ESP32 display would you like to see supported by dzPanel?
Round AMOLED, square touchscreen, or something completely different?
Stay tuned!
