... 2.38' not found' error when I upgraded my beta today. Also on bookworm; running on a Pi 4. Sorry, I can't now be certain of the "old" and "new" domoticz releases.
I "fixed" the problem by reverting to an older version of the bata, as described at

Re: How do I get batterylevels back?
Hmm,
After updating Domoticz won't start anymore. Status message: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.38' not found (required by /home/pi/domoticz/domoticz)
What to do?
Are you running Ubuntu? Then you need 24.04 to get it running. Ubuntu 22.04 that has openssl3 but wrong version ...

Re: Old domoticz stopped working without being updated (GLIBC / OpenSSL errors)
Definitely must have had an update. Glibc in Stretch does not go beyond 2.24 but the error shows that the current installed Domoticz wants at least version 2.28.

Re: Old domoticz stopped working without being updated (GLIBC / OpenSSL errors)
No there is no automatic update in Domoticz, you have to do this by hand either by going to Setup->Check for Updates
Or run ./updatebeta or ./updaterelease from within the installation folder
In the settings is a option to check for updates. When this is enabled, you will always get a notification ...

Old domoticz stopped working without being updated (GLIBC / OpenSSL errors)
Hello,
I have an old version of Domoticz (from around 2019) that was running without problems but today it stops running without having made any changes.
You will probably tell me to upgrade and I will look at it but I need to make domoticz run until I can do it (and I have read it is difficult with ...

Hi @gizmocuz,
I experienced the same, when trying to update to version 15686

The start-up log shows the following:

I used the easy instal from domoticz.comSjonnie2017 wrote: Wednesday 28 December 2022 11:10 Almost looks like you built from source. Did you?
It seems your pi is missing some packages. glibc springs to mind. What if you install the required packages?

Re: Security Panel not responding on IOS
Hello,
I experienced similar issues where one could not change the state of the panel from the Domoticz iOS. In the past, this feature was working.
Currently, the security panel is working; however, there was a recent update in the Domoticz iOS app. I encourage you to update it.
