Sensor compatible with RFLink but not Domoticz?
Do I need to do any Domoticz programming to get a sensor working in Domoticz that is compatible with RFLink but not listed as compatible with Domoticz?

The NEXA LML-710 doorbell works great with the RFLink and Domoticz out of the box.

I found the error. I had a user/password set up which wasn't in the server config (user:pass@ip).

You're looking in the old install in your home folder at a guess. Ignore that folder.
It's in /usr/local/lib/node_modules/homebridge-eDomoticz
Leave it there.
cd ~/.homebridge
(Note the dot). This is where config.json goes and where you should find your persist folder.
I don't have a dot ...
