well, my experience with samsung smart appliances is awful! lots of connections drops, lack of support, badly designed apps, etc. the best way to enjoy iot smart appliance is to use domoticz with infrared adapter and some good temp/humidity sensors.

Is this already implemented? it would be great for european and asian samsung's HVAC users! i think openhab got this up and running
