Re: ShellyTeacher for Domoticz

Hi all, I need some help with a Shelly Button: I configured MQTT, used Shelly Teacher to discover and add to Domoticz. Actions work nicely. However, it seems, that event_cnt, which I can clearly see updated on Mosquitto with each button press, is not forwarded to Domoticz. In other words: A single ...

Re: Python Plugin: Shelly MQTT

Plus 2PM is simple as it consists of 2 Input and 2 Switch device, so adding 1PM config and altering it is not a big deal. Although the Cover mode is a bit interesting and of course working otherwise than the old Shelly2... an experimantal example added the RPC payload has to work - in theory. I ...

Thanks the sample, its seems possible.. but PRO3 only has only 1 channel? Or em:1, em:2, emdata:1, emdata:2 are also exists?
No, just em:0, etc.
You can see in em:0 that there are 3 measurements of each type, one for each phase a_, b_, c_.

Re: Python Plugin: Shelly MQTT

The Pro3EM is a completely different species of animal... the online Gen2 documentation is not very detailed, but i guess EMData lays in somewhere deeply hidden in "Notifications" area and with the current Domoticz MQTT AD implementation it will be impossible to distinct more than 1 channel data ...

Re: Python Plugin: Shelly MQTT

For simplicity i started to write a script (not a plugin!) shellyteacher4domo Hi, thanks for the script. It took a while but I finally got it to work half-way. My issue seems to be that I have Plus 2PM and Pro3EM devices. For the Plus 2PM I just copied the Plus 1PM config, but of course, this way I ...

Re: OpenWeatherMap data interpretation. Is it a forecast?

@kiddigital sorry to bother again, but I'm still confused what I'm seeing. Current value is as shown here: History is like this: Which one is the actual current value? 79.7mm or 0 (as shown in the history)? I assume it's 0. 79.7 is probably the sum of something, which means it must be ignored?

Re: OpenWeatherMap data interpretation. Is it a forecast?

I'm suprised: So this chart means that the forecast was changing quite a lot during the day (0.8 to 3.7mm/day). day1.png There's no rain forcasted in the next few days, so I will test this once the rainy summer weather is back.. Edit: Maybe I don't have to wait. Let's have a look at Day5 where some ...

Re: OpenWeatherMap data interpretation. Is it a forecast?

Thank you for the explanation. This makes sense. One question remains: If we look at the rain forecast for Day1, we can see the predicted amount of rain in mm. Does the current value (latest value) show the amount of rain for the whole day tomorrow or just for the hour of the current time + 24h? If ...

OpenWeatherMap data interpretation. Is it a forecast?

Hi I'm a bit confused what data I see from the OpenWeatherMap plugin. I understand that there should be forcast data like: Day0 = today, Day1 = tomorrow, etc. However, if I look at the logs of these devices, I see hourly data from the past 3 days and the last entry is at the current time. So it ...

Re: Hue bridge repeating last status on Domoticz start

It's blockly currently, but thanks for the hint. Also wondering why the restart. What kind of stability issue? Some 1.5 years ago the Web interface was not accessible anymore from time to time and I was not able to find the cause back then. But you have a point, it might well be that nowadays it's ...

Hue bridge repeating last status on Domoticz start

Hi I'm restarting Domoticz each night for stability reasons. Now I connected a Hue Bridge with a Hue dimmer switch, configured as a selector. All works fine. However, whenever Domoticz is restarted, Hue Bridge initially sends again the last status of the dimmer switch. This of course triggers the ...

Re: ttyacm: serial port keep changing on Synology after restart

Is that with Jadahl's package?
Yes. The latest DSM6 stable release.
Another (related?) problem is that after each reboot of the Synology the driver fails. After disconnecting and reconnecting the stick it works again.

Same problem here. I had to change from the old stick to Gen5 and now the ttyACM keeps switching between 0 and 1. Have you found a solution for Synology?

Re: domoticz in synology as package! Available now.

Hi I just updated the package from 2.0.35xx to 2.0.4075-7. Since then, Domoticz won't start anymore: /usr/local/domoticz/bin/domoticz: error while loading shared libraries: libusb-1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory The libs look like this: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 ...
