Voice for IoT (Home Automation Voice Commands)
Hi All, It's been a while but I have updated the Home Automation Voice Commands Project (Tasker) to a native android app. The app includes a back end service to extend Cloud Messaging which will allow for simulated direct commands for both the Google Assistant and Microsoft Cortona via IFTTT. This ...

Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
Hi Frank, The original version of the app is no longer available for download from the play store but is still available as a tasker project (here: https://github.com/JavierRefuerzo/Home_Automation_Voice_Commands/blob/master/Home_Automation_Voice_Commands-1.0.1.2d.prj.xml ). I removed this from the ...

Re: Tasker and AutoTools Json Read
Hi mlamie, There is no need to use a Json, but it can make things easier. Here is a task from the app I created with tasker which requests the domoticz data and writes it to a file without AutoTools...you can then read the file and extract device names and IDs..The full tasker project xml is on ...

Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
Hi all, I have updated this tasker project to a native android app, I will need alpha testers to implement Domoticz, it currently supports Tasker and the ISY994i. Let me know if you are interested. Here are videos of setup and app in action: Video Example of app in action: https://youtu.be ...

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
Allright, thanks! Would it be possible to set the app for constant listening? I thought I did read it anywhere, but am not sure. This can be done with the AutoVoice Tasker plugin. Either with OK Google, which is dependent on your device, some devices only allow always listening while changing. or ...

Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
I'm using this app for a while. Works good. The problem I'm facing is that I cannot add a new voice command. When I try to link to domoticz, it presents me 2 options, 1) insteon hub device and 2) insteon hub scene. I don't use insteon, have only Domoticz. Anyone seen this behavior? I'm on version 1 ...

Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
If you installed the app prior to version 1.0.1.4 (Date 2015-12-20) you will need to correct word corrections for plural words. This is done by long clicking "WORD CORRECTIONS AND REPLACEMENTS" and adding a space to the end of the correct word i.e. change "light=lights" to "light=lights " ( notice ...

Thanks, and I will add the username password bug to my to-do list.
Scenes are already implemented, only Domoticz variables are on the to-do list... Are your scenes missing?

Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
Hi Pietoesno, What is the message you see? Also can you check to see if the file "HA Chaining Voice Commands/DZnamstoaddrs.txt" was created on your device? I think the program will set a "blank" password if anything was entered for username or password, If this is the case you will need to delete ...

Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
No Problem, I forgot to change the instructions to document this "feature". I am trying to discourage multi-word corrections (unless absolutely needed) in favor of adding single word corrections, new devices, new locations, and new actions. The app will be faster with less Corrections, and there ...

Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
This is awesome! I*ll be happy to help with translations. Is [email protected] the email i should use to get in touch? I might have found a bug: When adding phrase, i always get error "must contain only letters and spaces". I've tried both using norwegian letters (æ,ø,å) and without. The ...

Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
I install the app in a Android tablet but the letters are so small that can´t configure :( Can I set the apps on a Android Phone and then migrate it to the tablet? I installed the app on a Samsung phone with Android with the same result. The letters are to small so I can do nothing inside the app ...

Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
Yes it is possible, but I would not recommend doing it because it may trigger an item in the "default room" if a voice command is chained. I would instead change the "default room" to "kitchen", then just say " turn on the light(s)".... I intentionally made this hard to do because it is not how ...

Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
Yes, however I just noticed a problem if you add the action association in the app.....I will fix it in the next update In the meantime you can edit the file "DZdeviceactionstoactiincodes.txt" with the following on,off,toggle,dim:::On,Off,Toggle,Set%20Level&level=6 The "6" in "Set%20Level&level=6 ...

Re: Home Automation Voice Commands
I had a play with the "Remove location dependency" option, but not knowing how it worked, I've now ended up with three actions all with the same name ("lights"). They all show up on the "Linked commands"/"Command associations" page, but I can't delete any of them with a long press. The "Autowear ...
