Re: iBeacons
I'm also interested in the beacon technology, and have bought some gimbal beacons. They are vey cheap and backed up by a big company. I've played with the samples from this nice blog post, http://vincenth.net/blog/archive/2014/04/24/building-cross-platform-ibeacon-apps-for-ios-android-and-windows ...

Wemo compatibility
Hi! I've been working in a hardware plugin for Sonos and other UPnP media renderers (~speakers) for some time now. It's still in beta state, but more or less works. As it turns out, a WeMo switch is another specific type UPnP device. I wrote a message in another thread in this forum not long ago ...

Re: Cubieboard2 + domoticz
I've used the latest Jessie image linked from the opening post in that thread. It's only SD, but you can later move all to NAND executing a script from /root.
All is working Ok now for me.

Re: Cubieboard2 + domoticz
Thanks Derik. No, I didn't have to change pi anywhere (btw: I created a pi user to streamline the move from a previous Raspi). It seems that it's a known problem under last Wheezy image (see quote, under this thread http://www.cubieforums.com/index.php/topic,1275.780.html ). I finally found a ...

Re: Cubieboard2 + domoticz
Hello! I had to reinstall my cubie (it didn't boot after an apt-get upgrade ???), and I chose to use Debian Wheezy (not Jessie) from the same page that is referred from the wiki http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Installing_and_running_Domoticz_on_CubieBoard2 . But after the reinstall, I cannot start ...

Re: Cubieboard2 + domoticz
Nice to know. Well, I was having lately some annoying delays using Openzwave (not in the past), I had other plans for this Raspi, and saw some recommendations to use CB2, so I took the plunge. The delays are gone (but I still have to move everything that was on the Raspi to the CB2: 2 GPIO reed ...

Re: Cubieboard2 + domoticz
Thanks for your help. After some (after)hours and checking in Cubieboard forums, I've solved my problem. There were a couple of reasons, being the main one that the NAND had not been properly flashed (some files were corrupted). With PhoenixSuit, when flashing to NAND flash instead of SD card, you ...

Re: Cubieboard2 + domoticz
Hi! I've bought a Cubieboard2 (it's on offer now) to run domoticz on it. I've carefully followed the wiki instructions (I used lubuntu-server-13.08-v1.06 - there are two server version available at the suggested link - and I needed Step 3 to update to Ubuntu 14.10), but once on 13.10, after reboot ...

Re: How use Room Plan ?
Impressive work, @Dnpwwo! Works nice so far.
Assigning different colors to each room would be nice.
As mentioned earlier, if a room contains a scene, no devices are shown.
Thanks!!
