And today the 220uF/35V elco went bad. So another replacement . . .
Gosh they really use bad quality components.

Big thanks for the tip. I had exactly the same issue with two of my AN157s. They went crazy one day after each other. I had them for 5 years and worked flawless. I found the capacitor degraded as it measured only 250nF. Replaced it with a new X2 capacitor of 470nF and the problem was gone. Waiting ...
