Re: Python plugin: Presence detection from wireless router
Any maintancance (update) jobs on the Fritzbox at 22:00? Maybe some timed blocking rules? Hi EscApe, Thanks for the reply. I had been looking for tasks/blocking rules running around that time (it's GMT btw) but couldn't find any. However I now disabled "AVM Services" > "Searching for updates" and ...

Re: Python plugin: Presence detection from wireless router
I am using iDetect for quite some time now without any problems. Re: Python plugin: Presence detection from wireless router
I have been using and testing this plugin for about 4 weeks now and must say that it works flawless so far. Not a single on/off event is missed. I had been using the presence detection script from Hydex80 the last 3 years or so but it wasn't performing that good. Lot of events where missed. So ...

Re: Presence detection for Fritzbox script v2.0: using TR064 protocol communication to your router
For Synology users, who also want to try out this script on their NAS, it goes like this. Please note, in terms of settings, this depends on how your NAS is set up. With regard to the brief instruction given below, I also assume that some basic knowledge is present. :) 1. Create a directory (eg ...

Re: Presence detection for Fritzbox script v2.0: using TR064 protocol communication to your router
Good news a new version of the presence detection has been released.
Good news indeed! Thanks in advance.
I will install and test it during X-Mas holidays. But I assume there will be not much difficulties. If so, I'll let you know.
For now, happy X-Mas etc...

Re: Presence detection for Fritzbox script v1.0: using TR064 protocol communication to your router
Tested and working fine on a Synology DSM 6.2. You need Python3 to run this.
Have used the presence detection from Chopper_Rob quite a long time but this works way better. Thanks.
PS. I'm running this script for 4 devices now.

Re: Watermeter with ESP8266
1000 seems right to me: 1m3 is 1000 liter. Try and find out what happens. Sorry, I thought I was answering @ NdyGen. It works for you  BTW I myself am using a inductive proximity sensor (my water meter has a metal rotating disc). I find this design much more sturdy, no electronics involved ...

Divider of 1000 seems ok. Setting it higher, for instance 100000, makes no difference?

Re: RFXtrx firmware update 95/195/251
Hoi Bert, I notice in the new firmware that a "new PCR800" is added. I assume the protocol for this device (raingauge Oregon PCR800) is rewriten or adjusted in this new firmware release? I couldn't find any new hardwaretype/release of the Oregon PCR800. Can you be more specific of the changes for ...

Re: ESP made easy
I have an esp-12 with an oledscreen ssd1306 attached. Adding a line of text directly in the ESP Easy interface, works fine. However I want to push data (temperature, humidity etc.) from Domoticz to this module, so it displays the data on the oled screen. In this article http://www.esp8266.nu/index ...

Found out that teh previous error (returned: 32256) was a permission issue. Fixed that. Checked the logfile and still teh same errormessages. So editing and saving the script with vi, didn't make any difference.

I opened end edited the script all the time with WinSCP. Should that make a difference?
I have now opened the script with vi and saved it.
I will monitor the log and see if the errors disappear.
