Re: Scheduler for INDEVOLT home battery
Last time I checked, the price is about 600 euro/2kWh.
Still relatively cheap, usually I see prices of 5000-6000 Euro/10kWh. What would cause the price difference?
For years I have a 'software battery' running in Domoticz:

Re: Scheduler for INDEVOLT home battery
You can get a quote for a 2 year contract, the you will probably see it will be way less then 7 cents.
A home battery in the Netherlands next year will hardly pay off, it will only help with using more solar energy directly. But that will give long ROI times as the energy tarifs are low.
Hmm I ...

Re: Scheduler for INDEVOLT home battery
Yes the API allows you to set discharging and charging at any power setting between 0 and 2400watt. I personally only discharge for own use. this can also be engaged through the API. The battery uses its own P1 meter to make sure it delivers exactly the power needed to keep the meter at 0. When it ...

Re: solar power prediction
Any insights on the accuracy of this API? Ive compared the results of last months of my plugin and saw some massive outliers where predictions were a factor 5 or more too high. And then read your comment about the snow ;). For the normal days I see accurcy vary around 30% in both directions.
It ...

Re: solar power prediction
I am using NED.nl as data source (free). It also provides prediction for solar production in (provinces of) the Netherlands. I extrapolate the capacity used value (%) for each hour to my own setup and apply correction for angle and orientation. It results are reasonably accurate, at least as ...

Scheduler for INDEVOLT home battery
I have made a battery scheduler for my home battery from INDEVOLT. It is based on a python plugin I wrote to obtain most the sensor data for the battery via a local HTTP api (one of the nice features of this particular battery!). Then using 6 dzvents scripts:

Re: What's next for Domoticz??
I agree with both of you! If you know your way around Domoticz you can make amazing automations! HEMS is indeed something that I have been working on as well. I recently bought a plugin home battery and now have been investing quite some hours to setup proper charging/discharging scheduling ...

Enever - Enable quarterly prices
I have been using Domoticz for years now, including the Enever plugin to obtain pricing for electricity. Recently I have obtained a Indevolt home battery for which I would like to setup smart charging/discharging (I have made a rudimentary plugin for it if anyone is interested).
