Re: Optimizing Zigbee with Woox Smart Garden Irrigation Control R7060

I have it working now for 3 weeks; irrigation approximately 3 times per week. Working OK ... until today ... Yesterday afternoon I replaced the batteries for Lithiums. Checked afterwards; on/off working OK. Yesterday night I updated Domoticz from 2024.4 to 2024.7. A smooth ride; everything working ...

Re: Optimizing Zigbee with Woox Smart Garden Irrigation Control R7060

It's something totaly useless for users, you can have more problems with a device that have a LQI of 200 than a one with 50 Does this mean that there is no way for a user to check anything on the reliability of his devices? When you first connect a device, like my Irrigation control, it may work ...

Optimizing Zigbee with Woox Smart Garden Irrigation Control R7060

I'm running Z4D (version 7.1.020) on Domoticz 2024.4 with a Conbee3 stick, two Aqara temperature sensors and an Ikea Tradfri Control outlet as a router. I recently bought the Woox Irrigation control R7060. Reliability is my biggest concern, as I am expecting to be away from home quite often. When I ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz plugin: failed to load 'plugin.py'

I tried to perform the steps; I succeeded, but with some "hurdles": $ git checkout stable7 error: Your local changes to the following files would be overwritten by checkout: plugin.py Please commit your changes or stash them before you switch branches. Apparently git thinks that I modified the ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz plugin: failed to load 'plugin.py'

@pipiche: Thanks to your advice, I'm running Z4D for a year now without problems :) Because of support of the Conbee3 stick, I installed the plugin in februari 2024 from the development branch, with: $ git clone https://github.com/zigbeefordomoticz/Domoticz-Zigbee.git $ git checkout wip-develop ...

Re: zwavejs-ui - FAIL - how many of you did try & succeed?

When I first read about the migration to Zwavejs-UI and read the instruction, I thought: I'm not going to do this. The second time when I read it, I thought the same. I installed HA for sometime on a spare Pi: installation: great; integrations: OK, also some learning curve, but doable. I didn't ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz plugin: failed to load 'plugin.py'

I performed the bare metal installation of domoticz in stead of the previous installation of domoticz in docker. Pi4, Bookworm, Domoticz 2024.4 Then installed the Zigbee-for-Domoticz plugin. Used the wiki procedure, with the following modifications as proposed by pipiche: after the git clone command ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz plugin: failed to load 'plugin.py'

At the moment that I tried to add the port 9440 to the docker-compose.yml file, I ran in an other problem that the plugin.py file could not be found. Again something to do with paths that are different from the host and inside the docker container (like I had before). Couldn't find what caused this ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz plugin: failed to load 'plugin.py'

I just found something: The port needs to be specified in de docker-compose.yml file. Now it only contains port 8080. The port for the Zwavejs-UI config page is in another docker.compose.yml, so when looking in the file for domoticz you don't get triggered that multiple ports may be needed for the ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz plugin: failed to load 'plugin.py'

Well, that did the trick! Thanks a lot! It all started up smoothly now. Not one error message anymore. The log looks clean. The two widgets look good: Zigate status: ready Zigate notifications: channel 25 There is one thing left now: I still cannot access port 9440 to get to the configuration page ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz plugin: failed to load 'plugin.py'

On the fact that you cannot access 9440, don't you have a firewall in place and you need to open the port ? No. The installation is just a week old and it is not yet connected outside the LAN, so I didn't install a firewall yet. Furthermore for the WebUI of Zwave-js I access port 8091; I didn't ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz plugin: failed to load 'plugin.py'

OK, that is a bit of a surprise, but thanks for this good advice. I got this working; simply the git checkout command and in docker: delete the FIRSTRUN file, docker down and up; then the customstartup.sh script performs the update. I observed that the requirements.txt was updated with libraries ...

ZigbeeForDomoticz plugin: failed to load 'plugin.py'

Trying to get a new ConBee3 stick working with the ZigbeeForDomoticz plugin, on: Pi4, headless, Domoticz 2024.4, 3 docker containers for Domoticz, MQTT and Zwavejs-UI System is running well. Re: Inconsistent Python3 versions

Just found the answer. Topic:
https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40072
rerers back to the Domoticz in Docker wiki page
The Domoticz Docker container runs Python 3.9.2
So may I conclude then that for Python plugins in Domoticz the Python version on the command line doesn't matter?

Inconsistent Python3 versions

I installed a Pi4 from scratch: Raspberry Pi Imager v1.8.5 Model: Raspberry Pi4 OS: Raspberry Pi OS (other) > Raspberry Pi OS Lite (64-bit) (Debian Bookworm) I installed 3 docker containers: domoticz, mqtt5 and zwavejs-ui each in a container. Imported the domoticz sqlite db from my previous Pi3B; my ...

Re: Problem with Python installation: libc6-dev breaks libgcc-8-dev

So no one encountered this before? Curious.
I decided to stop with further try-and-error, so I installed a new Pi4 completely from scratch, which is now up and running.
So I'm all set to go ahead with python based plugins... I think...
