I am happy to report that build 16988 seems to have solved the problem for me; I ran this for the past week Domoticz during which did not go down. Now updated to 16993. The Hue bridge (V2, white square) runs firmware 1.74.1974142030.
Kind regards,
Paul

Re: Philips Hue related crashes
Well, build 16954 did not solve the problem; yesterday (30-11) Domoticz quit again. I saw that a newer build was available (16972)* so I installed that and I'll see if that solves this problem.

Re: Also fell into the update trap
I'm running Domoticz on a Pi and always was a bit reluctant to run updates for this very reason.
However, I find this becomes less of a problem. The backup-restore functionality in Domoticz is easy, fast and effective. Spinning up the latest Pi OS became very simple since the Raspberry Pi Imager ...

Re: Philips Hue related crashes
Hi,
I experienced this problem a few times and have installed the 16954 build yesterday. So far this works fine, I will let you know here if that changes.
*edit: wrong build number corrected

Scratch that, there is a button for it
Anyways, I upgraded to build 16954; let's see what happens.
Thanks again for the support!

Re: Domoticz dies after a couple of days.
Yeah, I see. I set the software distribution channel to 'Bèta' but how do I force an update?

Re: Domoticz dies after a couple of days.
Last night Domoticz quit around 05:10 (the data point @05:10 is the last one containing data, the next one is 11:20, after restarting). The time before tonight's event was a couple of days ago, around 02:00, and the times before that I do not know.

Re: Domoticz dies after a couple of days.
Although I hardly ever use Hue via Domoticz it is installed in my setup. So that might be the problem. I'll take a look at the fix, thanks for the heads-up!

Domoticz dies after a couple of days.
Hi,
I'm running Domoticz on a Raspberry Pi for about 6 years without any hiccup, only shutting it down when upgrading the software, OS, and at one point reinstalling everything when replacing the Pi with a newer model. Other than that Domoticz is rock solid and just running year after year. Up to ...

Re: Getting data from LoRa - TTN network
After a Utilities-induced powercut last night Domoticz failed to autostart, so I grabbed that opportunity to upgrade the Pi and Domoticz (to V2022.1).
I see in the log that the aliasses file is used now. At first this gave me still no data from TNN, but, after I added an alias for 'humidity' in the ...

Re: Getting data from LoRa - TTN network
No, I'm on 2021.1. Kind of reluctant to upgrade, for the RPi it runs on has not been upgraded for a while which could give me headaches when upgrading Domoticz.
But as the aliasses file might only be in the new version I'll have to bite the bullet
Thanks for you reaction!

Hi,
I realize this thread is old but as I'm trying to get data from an experimental device (LoRa E5 module) to Domoticz and run into the same problem as described here I thought it sensible to revive it.
