As far as I'm concerned, I had exactly the same problem.
After seeing "Retry LOGIN within 45 min." several times, I decided to reauthenticate. With no success. Then I rebooted my RPI: that did the trick! After reboot, it worked.
It's worth giving it a try... ;)

After updating yesterday there are 2 issues remaining. The rain gauge does not update and neither does the thermostat temperature

With the last update today 16242 it works !!!

I did a new install from the last beta.
And using a installation from a family member with only a thermostat the devices are created.
