The bests outputs to use for relay (best2worst D1, D2, D5, D6, D7, optionnaly if no more choise D8. Try to change it if not one of them.
Have you unsolder the pins D1 on 3 others relay and remapped them, cause i know this shields are commonly driven on D1 pins ?

Is the d1 powered from micro usb or directly with the wires ? Cause if it s from the wires the 5v pin from d1 still not connected, and you should use a 3,3v power source. Not all digital pins are suitables for relay on d1 mini, the best i ever choose is D5. When i look your picture i see that you ...
