Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz installation errors
Hi Pipiche, I did not try yet. I can't recall how but yesterday Z4D surprisingly started to work. I only have one error message, that appears about every three minutes. In the Domoticz error log it says: 2025-01-20 20:59:18.904 Error: ZigbeeForDomoticz: ReadCluster - Warning - unknow 1154/01 Cluster ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz installation errors
Version 6.3 is installed by PPM apparently. I started allover (again...). Installed the full version of Raspberry Pi OS Bullseye 64 bits. User is pi. The Zigbee coordinator is the Sonoff ZBDongle-E. I installed Domoticz and updated it to the last stable version. I did not install any other plugins ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz installation errors
It still doesn't work. I don't have the Domoticz-Zigbee directory. I suppose PPM made a directory Zigate but that's protected. It's owned by root. I changed the rights with "sudo chown -R peter:peter ." and then executed the command you gave me. After a restart of the Domoticz service I still get ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz installation errors
Unfortunately I have to reopen this thread. The solution was not in using the full Bullseye OS. Domoticz hanged about half an hour after starting up. I restarted again. OS: Raspberry Pi OS (64-bits legacy) Bullseye (not the full version, which installs a lot of stuff I don't need like OpenOffice ...

Re: ZigbeeForDomoticz installation errors
I fixed it with a new install of Raspberry Pi OS. I had Bullseye Lite, I now use the full Bullseye version.

Re: Inventory of devices
I used the JSON API call '/json.htm?type=command¶m=getdevices&displayhidden=1'. In the wiki it also contains '&used=true' but if you add that it will filter out all unused devices. If you add '&used=false' it filters out all used devices. If you omit it, it does not filter and gives all devices ...

ZigbeeForDomoticz installation errors
Hi, I'm trying to install a Sonoff ZBDongle-E (Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus) with ZigbeeForDomoticz. When I start Domoticz the hardware does not start. In the error log I see the following messages (I stripped the date and time for readability): Error: ZigbeeForDomoticz: An unexpected error occurred ...

Inventory of devices
Hi, I want to make a csv file with an inventory of all devices in Domoticz. I wrote a dzVents script that finds all devices that are shown (used) on the tabs but not the ones that are hidden (unused) from the tabs: return { active = true, -- Activeer het script on = { timer = { 'every minute ...

Reinstall Evohome Evofw3
Hi, I use Evofw3 to connect Evohome to Domoticz. A couple of days ago I replaced one of the HR92 radiator valves by a HR91. The HR91 is connected as a device with Domoticz but I can't get rid of the HR92 device in the device list. I removed the HR92 from the list with no result. I deleted the ...

Re: Zigbee modules to make wall switches smart
Walter, I don't want to mix different kinds of wall switches and outlets. That's why I was looking for a module that fits invisibly behind an existing wall switch. Apparently they are only available at 75 euros each... So I changed plans. I ordered four door & window sensors from Aqara (the old type ...

Re: Zigbee modules to make wall switches smart
Hi, I don't want to switch the power on and off with the module, but send signal via Zigbee to Domoticz when the switch is pressed. That signal activates a script that for example switches on smart lamps. Thus I am looking for a module like the one Thorgal suggest but not at 75 euro a piece. Thorgal ...

Re: Zigbee modules to make wall switches smart
Hi Walter and Kedi, Al those devices have one downside: they are powered with 230VAC - even though they only have a live connection and no neutral. They are powered by a small current that the module allows to flow through the load, even when that load is "switched off". I am searching for a module ...

Re: Zigbee modules to make wall switches smart
Hi Gizmocuz,
No, I'm looking for a module that fits behind the wall switch so the wall switch still looks the same as before it went smart.

Zigbee modules to make wall switches smart
Hi, When I started with Domoticz about 4 years ago I used Aqara Door & Window sensors to make my existing wall switches smart. With some coding in dzVents I have programmed actions with 1, 2, 3 and 4 pulses, see my post here . Although these switches still work well, the main reason for creating ...

Ikea Remote N2 dimming in DzVents
Hi, I have the 4 button Ikea N2 remote. I want to use this to control non-Ikea bulbs, using DzVents. This remote sends 12 messages, depending on the time you push a button. Each button can send 3 messages. For example the Dim button sends V5 when pressed shortly, V4 when you hold the button and V6 ...

Re: No connection with coordinator
I've made a test setup this evening. I bought a 12V general purpose car relay with a normally open contact. I didn't change any wiring in the car but connected the relay to a cigar lighter plug. In my Volvo 940 the cigar lighter is switched by the ignition switch. The relay contact is connected to ...

Re: No connection with coordinator
I will buy a relay and give it a try. If the T1 really sends its status every hour (and I have no reasons to doubt it) it uses very low power. I use couple of T1's at home where I replaced the reed relay by a wall switch and use them for the lamps. After almost three and a half year I changed ...

No connection with coordinator
Hi, I want my car to sent a message to Domoticz when it arrives on the driveway and when it leaves. The cheapest and easiest solution I can think of is using an Aqara T1 door sensor in the car with a relay contact instead of the reed contact. The relay will be switched when the ignition switch is ...

Change log frequency and graph type
Hi, I've got a P1-meter connected to Domoticz. Domoticz logs the electricity usage every five minutes and shows it as a line chart. The gas usage is logged only once per hour and shown as a bar chart. Is it possible a. to increase the log frequency of the gas usage and b. to show that data in a line ...

Missed one record, how to repair?
Hi, I updated Domoticz last Saturday at about 24:00. At that time Domoticz saves the data of the day. Because the event system apparently wasn't working because of the update I missed the day values and now have a gap in the graphics. Is it possible to add the missing line of data by hand to the ...
