Re: Smart heating control algorithm - new, open-source
Hi jefft, I don't have OpenTherm or Bosh EMS, just a regular gas boiler where I added a ds18b20 thermometer to the output. "flowSet" I created as dummy thermostat, without it the script reports an error. I havn't such an interface. Can I skip it? How often are your room temperature sensors reporting ...

Re: Smart heating control algorithm - new, open-source
Thanks jefft for your reply. I got the script working and I would like to ask a couple of things. My situation: 7 zones, each with a thermostat (setPoint) and termostatic valve on the radiator (mvalve). In Domoticz, I have a short script: when at least one mvalve is active, then boiler is turned on ...

Re: Smart heating control algorithm - new, open-source
Thanks for the great work Jeff. I would like to try it for 7 zones, but it is not clear to me exactly what devices are used. Can you please provide a screenshot of the device in Domoticz? Like variables.
Thanks a lot.
Thanks a lot.

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat
Thanks for a great plugin, which I used in one zone for about two years. Now I would like to regulate 7 areas - zones. Each zone has a controlled valve on the radiator and a thermometer, plus one central switch for the boiler. It should work so that if one zone requires heating, the boiler is ...

Re: Xiaomi Mi Temperature and Humidity Monitor 2
@Attis92 - super script. It's running ok. I tested two devices. But I had to add this library before install bluepy: sudo apt-get install python3-pip libglib2.0-dev. And I added rights to run py script and write to the folder. I bought Xiaomi gateway v3, but unfortunately it's not compatible with ...

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat
Hi, Can be possible to add the parameter max heating time? Like min heating time. Why? I have a problem (typically in the morning) when the difference between temperature 'economy' and 'normal' is more (2 degrees). Then heating time can be more than 40 - 50 minutes and the boiler is switch off by a ...

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat
Thanks a lot for excellent plugin. I have small question. It's possible to add the next thermostat mode besides normal and economy? Sometimes it's useful to have more levels. Thanks for your appreciation. Adding more « modes » would mean adding more set points and that means more devices on the i ...
