Glad you found a solution that works for you, but ngrok is not for me.
I did look at it before I settled on using RealVNC as an alternative route for what I need. I dismissed it when I looked into the organisation that runs it..and didn't get very far.

If you run domoticz on a pi, you can set up the RealVNC server that comes as part of the current pi OS package, create a RealVNC account, then use the free Real VNC client on whatever device you will use remotely, and access via a browser running on the pi.
