Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I'm currently dealing with exactly the same issue. I can send UDP packets and can see the responses arriving using Wireshark, but am not receiving the response messages to the Plugin. Unfortunatly, febalci's solution of using socket would not work for my situation ...
