Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I finally setup Controlicz with Domotitcz. No idea why i never did this before. I can use my Android watch to turn on the lights with my voice. How cool is that. I'm happily paing the subcription since yesterday. It's very well priced (compared to e.g. Home Assistant Cloud). However, the temperature ...

Re: Z-Wave support for EcoDim ED-10017 Wall switch Dimmer
One last thing: I updated the manufacturer xml, but I also copied the srzv9001k2dim.xml file and changed the product id in there, to match this device.

Re: Z-Wave support for EcoDim ED-10017 Wall switch Dimmer
Ok, found a way to work around this: I named the buttons $RemoteOn and $RemoteOff (The $ hides the buttons from the switches screen). I can tell which is which, by the Last Updated field that updates when I press each button (in the Settings -> Devices list). Based on that I created two simple ...

Re: Z-Wave support for EcoDim ED-10017 Wall switch Dimmer
I used your approach and created an xml file and entry for the wall switch. I rebooted the system and it is now "recognized"... But it does not change a thing really. What I noticed is that the "Last Seen" updates for the correct device when I click a button, but no data change, nor any data logged ...

Re: Netatmo doorbell anyone?
Sorry to kick up an old topic, but I'm also interested in this. Netatmo or Eufy both look interesting as they don't have a subscription requirement. As far as I know, the Netatmo has lower specs than Eufy, but a wider viewing angle. Any hands-on experience from anyone would be welcome. (I'm happy to ...

Re: Fibaro FGCD-001 and FGSD-002 continuous alert
What you can do (I did this for my motion detector which doesn't go to OFF after detecting something) is use the "Uitschakelvertraging" (not sure the english name, "Switch off delay"?. This is in the settings of the switch. Switches of type Smoke Detector don't have this for some reason, but you ...

Re: What's the exact use of an event
I am curious about this as well. I read before that device ending with 29 should be used. However, last night (always at night), my Domoticz system started rining the alarm because there was a smoke sensor ON. And indeed, there was a smoke sensor in the system with device 29 set to ON. For just a ...

Re: Download Raspberry version 4.10717
I found an old downloaded package with 4.10547... but I updated domoticz already. I usually use the "upgrade" feature within domoticz. This means that my 4.10717 backupped config is no long compatible with that... Does anyone have 4.10717 somewhere? (note that this easy upgrade feature also just ...

Re: Philio Zwave PSP05-D not working
It's an old topic, but I wanted to share my recent experience anyway since I think it can be helpful. First of all, modifying setting 7 to 22 did not work for me. It stopped detecting at all, so I changed it back to 4. Note that by default the sensor has a 24 hour wakeup time and since I installed ...

Slider usability
Hi everyone, I'm a fan of Domoticz for Android and I'm a premium user. I use it to control my lights (dimmers) and even to control the volume of my Onkyo receiver (which is also a dimmer switch). However the usability of the sliders keep bugging me. There is no easy way to move the sliders just "1 ...

https://www.domoticz.com certificate broken?
I'm getting errors in Chrome and Firefox that the wrong SSL certificate is installed for https://www.domoticz.com. Apparently the certificate is for *.flexwebhosting.nl ... Maybe this was already going on for a while, but my Chrome seems to automatically switch to the https:// version of a site by ...

Re: Can't start domoticz service. Error domoticz.sh
Depends what you mean by "strange text"... They don't have to be the same, but it does not make sense if one of them does not make sense :) Strange text could indicate sd card corruption. My SD card just died without warning the other day and I heard it is definitely not uncommon... So I would ...
