In theory you can load other arduino code on the RFLink, if I remember correctly.
But I'd recommend installing Domoticz on a Raspberry Pi Zero (W). Because Domoticz keeps your Synology awake 24/7, wearing down your harddrives. It's better to get a $10 piece of hardware instead, and save your $300 ...
