Thanks for the hint, but this is a really stupid thing to have to do. There is no legal requirement to force people to do this and it's clearly causing problems so why does it exist?

Sort of thing that will kill an otherwise useful forum.

Worth mentioning that not everyone uses a pi to run domoticz, so things like disk space and fragility of SD storage aren't always an issue.

Really non-intuitive behaviour and not a very helpful error message, so glad for this help.

Very pleased with the results of an evening playing with Dashticz - a very nice framework. I did have some problems using the GUI interface, but not once modifying the config files with a text editor. Thanks for making it - very nice!
