Can somebody point me in the right direction on how to get the Zoneminder device status updatet on changes?
- Is better to let Zoneminder push the information of let Domoticz pull the information (if even possible?)
- Is MQTT the best approach, or are there easier options?
Thank you

Re: Zoneminder plugin
Well, I've managed to get it to work, but not entirely as expected. 3 Devices are created, but there are a few flaws in the buttons: Zoneminder - Monitor 1 Function None = (does nothing) Monitor = None Modect = Monitor Record = Modect Mocord = Record Nodect = Mocord Zoneminder - Status Start = (does ...

Zoneminder plugin
I found this project for integrating Zoneminder into Domoticz, but the developer seems to have abandoned it and I am very interested in getting this to work, so that I can for instance disable camera's when I'm at home: https://github.com/sasu-drooz/Domoticz-ZoneMinder Zoneminder makes use of a Json ...

Re: Xiaomi Xiaofang 1S, not connecting to wifi
You will probably get more input opening an issue on https://github.com/EliasKotlyar/Xiaomi-Dafang-Hacks/issues, since they have more detailed expertise on this over there. But I am using the Dafang hack on my 1S as well, and I have to say it works pretty well. The preview on the admin portal is ...

Event to stop/start Zoneminder
I have Domoticz with Security Panel configured on an Ubuntu 16.04 LTS server. The same server runs Zoneminder to record events for several camera's when it detects motion. My Zoneminder events just get filled up with videos when I am home, so no need to have Zoneminder running while I am home. So I ...

Re: RFLink in 868 Mhz
The RFLink board allows for either 433.920, 433.420 or 868.3 Mhz modules. You cannot attach them all, you will need another board/Arduino to attach it using USB. You can however attach the 2.4Ghz module next to any of the other 3. Not too sure about the ZigBee protocol though! Anyone?

Eurotec Freewave 868 Mhz on RFLink
I'm using a 433Mhz RFLink which works great. I have an old Eurotec C6.6 alarm system laying around with multiple magnetic contacts, PIR's and smoke sensors. I've opened the central housing and a FreeWave 868.35Mhz (TDA5210) receiver was to be found in there. Is there any luck I might be able to use ...

Re: Opentherm Gateway NodeMCU terminal
That looks to have solved the issue indeed. By a bit disabling/enabling, restarting, all of a sudden the devices started to show up. Monitoring all works, even when I change the remote access setting on the thermostat, I am able to alter the temperature :D Now the flood of terminal codes are gone in ...

Re: Opentherm Gateway NodeMCU terminal
Ok, I just replaced the NodeMCU with another one flashed with ESPEasy. I've configured the Serial Server, now Domoticz gets a continues stream of terminal codes. Yet, no new hardware available?

Re: Opentherm Gateway NodeMCU terminal
I did try that, no new hardware is added. I also tried disabling/enabling it, no show. Even tried a fresh (release) install, since I thought I had some issues with the beta versions. What caught my eye is that the shell events don't all show in the Domoticz log as they all show in the uC shell in ...

Re: Opentherm Gateway NodeMCU terminal
I also e-mail the seller at Nodo-shop.nl. He gave me an url to the manual: https://www.nodo-shop.nl/nl/index.php?controller=attachment&id_attachment=47 Page 9 explains how both jumpers need to be set towards the NodeMCU on TxP/RxP. I had them set for the FTDI connector, which I am not using. Now ...

Thanks! Could you maybe guide me a little on how to use that, which pins do I need to query?

Opentherm Gateway NodeMCU terminal
I've purchased the nodo-shop OTGW (https://www.nodo-shop.nl/en/opentherm-gateway/188-opentherm-gateway.html), which is based on the open source version of OTGW. I didn't find any documentation on using or soldering it, but it wasn't too complicated. Then I put on a NodeMCU (ESP8266) and flashed ESP ...

Re: Raspberry Pi RXB6 receiver
Ok, at 5V with the voltage divider to make it 3.3V again didn't work? So inputting 3.3V and a straight data line now gives me input signals using RFSniffer :) However, using GPIO 27 in Domoticz still doesn't give me any input signal, where the Chinese version gave me loads (too many). Is this ...

Raspberry Pi RXB6 receiver
Hello, I'm new here and kinda new at home automation as well, so bare with me ;) To practice I have made a setup using a Raspberry Pi Rev B and attached the well known Chinese RF433 transmitter/receiver combo to respectively GPIO17 and GPIO27. I've made a resister setup so that the 5V input of the ...
