Nice. My board stopped working early this year, still have to look at it again.
I made a PCB design 2 years ago but that is also in a drawer somewhere.

Re: Support for the Resol VBUS protocol?
There is a big difference between bbqkees and javalins version : The cap from +5V to ground. Mine seems to work without the cap....Should I add it ? @SPM97 the 100nF you mean? That's a small smoothing cap recommended by the datasheet of the LM393. I worked a bit on a prototype for a Wi-Fi Gateway ...

Re: Support for the Resol VBUS protocol?
For the Arduino you can use 5V but remove the 20k resistor at the end end and you can replace the 10k resistor above that with a 4,7k resistor but that 10k can also work.
Earlier this year I made a batch of PCB's for this but I never actually tried one out, I'm still using my breadboard version

Re: Nefit / Buderus data/control via Arduino / ESP8266 to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
Most issues with updating the firmware from 1.9.5 to 2.0 are ironed out. I just released the 1.2 version of the Domoticz plugin which is compatible with the new 2.1 EMS-ESP firmware. So if you already installed the plugin before, run git pull in the ems-esp-domoticz-plugin directory to sync all ...

Re: Nefit / Buderus data/control via Arduino / ESP8266 to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
So I ran a number of tests last night and its mostly safe to update the Gateway to V2.0 via the web interface. I have tested it with the Wemos powered via USB and when its on the Gateway board in bus powered mode. It also worked fine on the Wemos D1 Mini V2 clone chip which was used on the very ...

Please wait a bit longer before updating to V2 via the web interface. Apparently it does not work for everyone. Updating by installing the bin file via Platform I/O or ESPTool does work of course. Check the following page for the latest information: https://bbqkees-electronics.nl/wiki/gateway ...

Re: Nefit / Buderus data/control via Arduino / ESP8266 to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
2.0.0 was released two days ago on Saturday evening. I did not have time yet to update the wiki, the wiki warns about V2 beta firmware. You can install the update. Should not cause any problems. Migrating from version 1.9: EMS-ESP will attempt to automatically migrate the 1.9 settings. Note there ...

Re: Nefit / Buderus data/control via Arduino / ESP8266 to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
So I see "read-only" for the Bosch Easy Control CT200, does this mean that there is no way to set the temperature? Indeed. That thermostat does not respond when you try to write the temperature parameter. Hi BBQKEES Your work is very impressive. My question is, do You have a short/long term plans ...

Re: Nefit / Buderus data/control via Arduino / ESP8266 to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
In theory it could be possible to set that parameter but its not in the firmware yet.
But you already can try to set it via a raw command to the bus with Telnet.

nice website https://bbqkees-electronics.nl/cart/ Thanks. Processing all the orders manually via PayPal and typing over the address data for the shipping labels etc by hand took me way too much time. Made another update to the dev branch and tested it. The errors are gone. Updating the selector switches doesn't work yet though.

Re: Nefit / Buderus data/control via Arduino / ESP8266 to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
The master channel of the plugin repository contains an update for hc1.
The dev channel now contains a large update to the plugin for hc1 to hc4 (which still needs additional testing).

I use the plugin In my domoticz a few switches are updated with the same values every time. The value hasn't changed. Is it possible to surpressed thos log lines if the switchstate doesn't change. I'll add it to the todo list for the next update. I should check the current value and only update if ...

Hi Kees How do I check if my Nefit Topline Compact HRC is compatible? The word "Works for almost all EMS compatible Nefit boilers" is making me uncertain to buy your gateway. Greetz Its compatible. The reason there is 'almost all' in the text is that there are so many different EMS boilers and ...

Re: Nefit / Buderus data/control via Arduino / ESP8266 to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
Hi Kees, great work (again)! RC35 thermostat control (change setpoint) works perfect! Some questions: - 'Thermostate mode'-text value remains empty... Fixed by editing python.py ('thermostat_mode' to lowercase) - Should it also be possible to enable/disable warm water, or is this only 'read-only ...

Re: Nefit / Buderus data/control via Arduino / ESP8266 to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
I created a new repository for the EMS bus Wi-Fi Gateway Domoticz plugin: https://github.com/bbqkees/ems-esp-domoticz-plugin It works will all devices using Proddy's EMS-ESP firmware. This is a replacement for the older Nefit EMS-ESP plugin. I added a large number of sensors and switches. If someone ...

Re: Nefit / Buderus data/control via Arduino / ESP8266 to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
You can mount it on the thermostat side but then you need to power it via USB. The current Gateway uses the additional power supply of the service jack to power itself. I have a working prototype that's fully bus powered but it will take some more months before it's ready for production. (If you ...

Aside from the interface board, I now have a complete plug-and-play EMS Wi-Fi Gateway available at the ordering page . Works for almost all EMS compatible Nefit boilers/heatpumps like the TrendLine, Topline, Enviline etc. Also for the other Bosch brand boilers like Buderus, Junkers and Worcester ...
