Re: move z-wave to another domoticz pi
The Z-Wave network is stored on Z-Stick, so as long as you move the stick too, you'll be fine. It might be a good idea to move also the XML file with OZW cache so you/network don't have query all the devices.

Re: Goodbye Domoticz ? OZW 1.6 nightmare
I feel your pain @Logread. In fact I'm too considering switching to some commercial platform - if I ever decide to re-include all the devices (56 at the moment). Over the years I did some small contributions around and I think dzVents is a great tool - probably best on the market, so I'm gonna miss ...

Moving installation to another machine
Hi, I'd like to move my Domoticz instance from RPi 2 to new RPi 3 A+. Is there any recommend approach? Especially as I'm using Z-Stick I don't want to loose whole Z-Wave network (I'll move the Z-Stick as well). My idea was something like this: Create backup of database Stop Domoticz Backup the whole ...

Re: Getting the state of load management switch on budget
I wasn't able to find any document in English, neither the web is in English. This might be a start, but again, not in English. Some other links (might be easier to translate those using Google Translate): this , this , this , this . If you want, send me a PM and we can jump on Skype and in 5-10 ...

Re: Getting the state of load management switch on budget
Sorry, I completely missed this post. Think Loxone but with Domoticz and with open source and community support. Interesting idea. I'm more like a DIY guy, at least around the SW part and using "standard" HW pieces. With a "box" I'd like to have full support (SW, HW, configuration, etc.) and ...

Re: Refreshing ZWave XML config with current manufacturers/devices
I can't. There's no way to initiate the inclusion process because there's no button sequence (3-button click) for it once the device is included.

Re: Refreshing ZWave XML config with current manufacturers/devices
I'm afraid that does not work for me. The only button that the device has (and some other devices have the same logic), has 1-press to wake-up, 3-press to start include (if not included) and 3-press to start exclude (if included). So I really cannot "redo" the inclusion.

Directory with persistent data cleanup? [Solved]
Hi, I noticed that the data directory, where the persistent data is stored, is not cleaned up when I delete the script. Is this expected? And is there a better solution to clean this up except "manually" matching script names and "data" names (I don't want to delete data files for scripts in use, to ...

Refreshing ZWave XML config with current manufacturers/devices
Is there a way to (re)load a current device specification from config directory where the XML files are into zwcfg_xxx.xml without excluding and including the device? I'm tweaking such configuration file and the ex-/include process is getting tedious. I tried deleting the corresponding node from ...

New (stable) Domoticz version?
The current stable version was released 2017-07-30 and since that we've had only betas. Although I tested few betas, usually before I was about to report a bug, I suppose it's not marked as beta for no reason and I'm not brave enough to install it for my house. Can we expect in foreseeable future ...

Re: Getting the state of load management switch on budget
I’m trying to find some guinea pigs for my device but so far no luck.... I thought your big 3 phase supply could be a good candidate :D https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21403 I've read the whole thread twice, but I'm not sure what's the goal. Is it "just" to have Domoticz in a nice b ...

Re: Getting the state of load management switch on budget
10 or even 12-13kW and this is for as long as you take a shower. So if it takes you 20 min to shower.... and that is 20 min x 12kW What? That's some serious current. What's your main breaker amperage? And more importantly the wires in your house. Re the distance, 60m away will a challenge ...

Re: Getting the state of load management switch on budget
My main switch/fusebox is like 60 meters from my house. So any wired connection is kind of problematic. That's why I was looking for i.e. the Qubino, because Z-Wave is wireless and I already have Z-Wave network. But I can think about it for sure. Thanks. Re electric shower, the 10kW peak, that's ...

Re: Getting the state of load management switch on budget
With the pulse output the information about phases is lost. I don't like that. You're right that the Qubino is bit expensive, but compared to what it measures (V, A, W, Kwh, Kvar, KVarh, kVAh, PF) and i.e. price for Aeotec Meter (uses clamps), it's not that bad. I like that it's DIN mounted, thus it ...

Re: Getting the state of load management switch on budget
I see... that makes sense. So you could detect at the fuse box if the circuits are active with a simple CT and looking at the frequency... if you are interested to play a bit with it a bit more, I’m in! Energy is my thing Putting aside that it's illegal to do any work in your fuse box unless you're ...

Re: Getting the state of load management switch on budget
Really interesting! But the utility is able to disconnect the wall switch? What if you need to have something working? These are "special" sockets. Not the regular ones in every room. For example I have 4 regular sockets in my office and these are always working. And one extra that's controlled as ...

Re: Creating devices for included node
Ahh, finally solved it. I enabled "Accept new Hardware Devices" and then rebooted my Raspberry Pi. New devices appeared then.
Not sure whether having "Accept new Hardware Devices" off makes a "security" (or any other) difference, but I keep it that way.
