Re: Improve 433Mhz reliability
Translated to dzVents for fun and succinctness. Also removes the need to create domoticz user variables. return { on = { devices = { 'A1', 'A2', 'TV' } }, data = { 'A1', 'A2', 'TV' }, execute = function(domoticz, device) if domoticz.data[device.name] ~= device.state then domoticz.data[device.name ...

Aeontec Home Energy Meter Gen5 100A reporting problems
I recently bought an Aeotec energy meter gen 5 60A, but that did not fit over the cable of my solar panels I wanted to measure, so I exchanged it for the 100A version which has a bigger clamp. Adding to Domoticz went fine, but I cannot get for the life of it to spew the right numbers. It reports ...

Re: How to detect who/what activated a LUA script
Look at the manual_override bit at the end. If the program switches the fan on it stores this in the 'fan_program' variable. In subsequent runs I check to see if the fan state is the same as what the program told it to do. If not, it was switched manually. require('scripts/lua/time') require ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
@EdKo66 Seems like your phone does not permit the app to use location information. I only know about IOS, but do you have a security setting somewhere (dis)allowing programs to access location information?

Re: How to detect who/what activated a LUA script
You can create an extra (dummy) switch and call that dummy switch with the timer. Have that dummy switch switch the original switch. Now you know the timer flipped the switch and not the user because the user flipped the switch directly (without going through the dummy switch). If it's to detect ...

Rfxcom works great for me. My colleague got RFlink and it works fine as well. RFlink is cheaper by lots.

Re: Check if devices are still functioning
Took a while, but I found http://localhost:8080/json.htm?type=openzwavenodes&idx=2 where idx is the HardwareID from your z-wave transceiver found with http://localhost:8080/json.htm?type=devices&rid=113 with rid being the idx of the device you want zwave info over. The LastUpdate returned with the ...

Function naming
What's with the mixed function naming? Camelcase and underscoring?

Re: Check if devices are still functioning
Thank you for your reply, but like I said, lastupdate will not work because a door/window sensor lastupdate will be the last time the state changed. I have sensors on windows that rarely open, so lastupdate will be days ago even though the device is working fine. The API also does not report the ...

Check if devices are still functioning
I am trying to find a way to determine if devices are still functioning. Like a window/door sensor only has a lastupdate which is the last time the door/window opened. But some windows are hardly ever opened. Z-Wave does know the 'last seen' but I have no idea how to get this in Lua or from the son ...

Re: LUA inìdentifer onTimer event
You could create a dummy device and have that dummy device be switched by the timer and then script to turn on the real device and then you also know the timer was triggered. The manual action would be on the device itself.

I am saying something can be made to get the data through the Oral B API which would be easier than the bluetooth option.

Re: Wich IOS app are you using and is similar to Domoticz (android)
I tried Pilot but did not like it. Dunno why.
I combined Domotics with homebridge (with the homebridge-edomoticz package) and can use Siri and home app and the shortcuts when you swipe up.
I sometimes use the Domoticz web interface, but not everything works.

I'm having trouble to get the plugin active on boot. I have updated the systemd domoticz.service to boot homebridge after domoticz, but domoticz does not have enough time to get up and running.
