I was able to fix the "PROXY: Authenticate result: wrong password for apikey/instanceid combination." problem by using the solution suggested by zicht on Saturday 25 February 2017:
"You can use the little prog SQLiteDatabaseBrowserPortable.exe (use google to find it) and then edit the tables. :idea ...

I am facing the exact same problem as pwhooftman.
I deleted my instance after getting the "this xml file..." message. And now I also get the message "PROXY: Authenticate result: wrong password for apikey/instanceid combination." in domoticz.

How can I make the domoboard run at startup?
Previously I used pm2 (on another RPi)
On my new RPi I have to run domoboard via the virtualenv, and setting it up on pm2 has not worked so far.
I have also tried putting the following commands in my rc.local:
cd domoboard/bin
source activate
cd ...

I had the same problem today on raspbian full, so I tried the virtualenv as you suggested... and it works like a charm.

Mydomoticz has stopped working 2 days ago (after working for a couple of weeks).
After logging I can see that my instance is red.

The only thing which changed on my setup is that my rooters are now cascaded (iso 2 rooters with each a hdcp server).
