Turns out this was super easy to sync to domoticz.
Flashed esp easy on it, added a switch device and a dht thermometer device. Once it was synced with http domoticz, the temperature reads went right through.

can domoticz receive data from the sonoff th16's thermostat or I can only control the relay from domoticz
