Re: Python plugin: Battery Level for Z-Wave Devices
Not sure what you mean, but anyway the currently publicly available plugin is deprecated together with openzwave. I adapted the plungin to work with MQTT and zwave- js-ui, but I still need to push that to GitHub. May be next week when I am on vacations

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat
Are there any chances to add one more factor (heating water temperature) to the plugin? (Currently I'm doing it by manipulating the outtemp of the plugin, with the water temp value...) I think your approach of using the outtemp to factor the heating water temp is the most sensible without making ...

@xavbzh,
Did you try other python plugins ? This looks to me as a python issue rather than a plugin issue... some search might help you as I think there are many posts on similar issues on the forum

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat
@Logread, an excellent Domoticz version of Antor's SVT for Vera I've been using the Smart Virtual Thermostat by Antor for about 5 year on a mios/Veralite. The majority of my devices have been migrated to Domoticz on a raspberry pi but I'm still using the SVT on the Veralite. I've been testing the ...

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat
Thanks a lot for excellent plugin. I have small question. It's possible to add the next thermostat mode besides normal and economy? Sometimes it's useful to have more levels. Thanks for your appreciation. Adding more « modes » would mean adding more set points and that means more devices on the i ...

Goodbye Domoticz ? OZW 1.6 nightmare
Hi all, I am writing in large part to vent my immense frustration with the nightmare that OZW 1.6 has brought to my home automation. I have been running Domoticz on multiple Raspberry Pis since 2016, always with latest OS updates and successive Domoticz versions. Two of my production systems ...

Re: ramdisk problem after upgrade to 4.2020
It seems that recent versions of domoticz no longer allow these symbolic links due to updated sqlite version. Unfortunate but this is it.

It is on the github repo for the plugin. The file is called ‘ plugin legacy OZW 1.4 version.py ‘ and needs to be renamed to ’ plugin.py ‘ manually

Re: Python plugin: Battery Level for Z-Wave Devices
@vulbas, Looks the plugin is loading... give it some time (could be hours) to create the child devices, or run in debug mode to see that it works in details. Did you try to clear your browser cache (see instructions in many posts on the forum) ? May be this is why the hardware page does not show it ...

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat
@Remicade,
My suggestion would be to remove 17 from the plugins switches lists and run a script that sets 17 « On » if 13 or 15 are on, and switches 17 « Off » if 13 and 15 are « Off ».
Hope this helps

Re: Python plugin: Battery Level for Z-Wave Devices
Discovered this brilliant plugin yesterday, worked out of the box. My setup consists of a RPi with Domoticz and the ZwaveController installed doing all the actual zwave commands etc and updates my second Domoticz server which is a Ubuntu VM. This Ubuntu VM is my "main" Domoticz server where all my ...

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat
If any one may help..... I am the plugin’s author, but no way I can help you with such logs... we can take it offline by pm to avoid painful adds to the forum thread, but a few suggestions: - enable new devices creation in domoticZ - enable debug logging in domoticz (your logs are useless for now) ...

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat
So when downstairs, a dummy switch is flipped. That flipped switch is used in blocky to set thermostat mode into Normal , but it does not trigger. Is this because of the python framework created devices? I try to change the Thermostat to level 10 or level 20 with blocky. level 0 = off but not used ...

Re: Python plugin: Battery Level for Z-Wave Devices
I did notice a small security issue: - The password is logged to the logfile when debug is on - The password is also stored unencrypted in the database Not a big thing, cause normally someone will not have access to the database or the log. But still better not to store unencrypted passwords ...

Re: Python plugin: Battery Level for Z-Wave Devices
For me it's not working. No devices are created. If i understand the code correctly everything with a level below 255% should result in a device being created, but in my case it thinks all devices, including the battery reported devices report 255. I checked.... This URL gives (http://localhost:80 ...

You may want to look at the Smart Virtual Thermostat plugin that I wrote: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Plugins/S ... ostat.html
May be it fits your need ? There is also a forum thread for it.
