Great script. Does this script has to be run manually? Or will it automatically start pinging if a device shows up in the network?

Thanks for your reply. After trying several things, I managed to get it working by selecting "/dev/ttyACM0" as the port and reboot the Pi.

Your solution could be great for users that aren't able to run the RFLink properly when selecting either of the ports.
